Chen Barak PhD, General Manager
Chen Barak brings proven experience in the development and commercialization of medical devices. She has held several managerial positions in the medical device industry in Israel (Florence Medical, FlowMedic), including Project Manager, QA Manager, VP Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, and General Manager of R&D sites. Dr. Barak graduated from the Technion Institute in Haifa, Israel and received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at UT Southwestern, Dallas, TX.

 Uri Rosenschein MD, Founder & Chief Medical Consultant
Dr. Uri Rosenschein is a world-renowned interventional cardiologist and a pioneer in interventional cardiovascular procedures. Dr. Rosenschein received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Kellog-Recanati School of Management. He was the Founder of Angiosonics Inc., developing one of the earliest therapeutic applications of ultrasound in interventional cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Rosenchein holds eight US patents and is the author of more than 40 scientific papers. He is currently the Head of Cardiology at Bnei Zion Medical Center, Haifa, Israel.

Benjamin Spenser MBA, Founder & Chief Technology Officer  
Benjamin Spenser brings to Gardia over 10 years of R&D experience in the medical device field. Most recently he was at PVT, the first company to implant a catheter-based aortic valve in humans (acquired by Edwards Life Sciences). Prior to that he founded and held senior R&D management positions at a number of medical device start-ups, including Beating Heart, Libra Medical, MTRE, and Influence. Mr. Spenser received his degree in mechanical engineering from the Technion Institute in Haifa, Israel, and an MBA from Swinburn University. He is the inventor of several patents.

Asher Zilberstein MSc, Regulatory Affairs Manager
Asher Zilberstein has been in the Medical Device industry for nearly 20 years. Over the last 10 years he has served in the capacity of Regulatory Affairs Manager at Optonol, Scientific Laboratory Products, and Vital-Medical. Asher has extensive experience in compliance with regulatory standards and implementation of QA procedures. He received his MSc degree in Biotechnology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
